Student Disciplinary Code. The School shall maintain written rules and procedures for student discipline, including guidelines for suspension and expulsion, and shall disseminate those procedures to students and parents. Such guidelines and procedures must be consistent with applicable law including, but not limited to, requirements for due process, provision of alternative instruction, and federal laws and regulations governing the discipline and placement of students with disabilities. In the first year of operation, the discipline policy must be consistent with the discipline policy outlined in the Application and adopted by the Board following initial approval of the Application. Thereafter, if the School seeks modifications to the student disciplinary code, it will be required to notify the Commission of such change.
