Study and Examination Leave. (a) The board may approve leave without pay for pre-examination study and shall approve leave on pay for time spent sitting examinations plus necessary traveling time. (b) The board shall grant leave on pay to principals who are awarded a prestigious scholarship or fellowship (as defined by the Secretary for Education from time to time) for the duration of the contract plus reasonable traveling time.
