Sub-Loop Distribution Facility Clause Samples
The Sub-Loop Distribution Facility clause defines the terms under which a telecommunications provider can access and use a specific portion of another provider’s local distribution network, typically from a central point to a customer’s premises. This clause outlines the technical, operational, and financial conditions for such access, including requirements for interconnection, maintenance responsibilities, and any applicable fees. Its core practical function is to facilitate competition and service provision by allowing multiple providers to utilize existing infrastructure, thereby reducing barriers to market entry and promoting consumer choice.
