Common use of Sub-Subcontractors and Materialmen Clause in Contracts

Sub-Subcontractors and Materialmen. The Subcontractor shall provide to the Contractor, by completing Schedule I within thirty (30) calendar days of executing this Subcontract, the names, addresses, phone numbers and fax numbers of all material manufacturers, suppliers, and subsubcontractors the Subcontractor intends to use in completing the Work. Unless otherwise indicated by the Contractor, if the value of this Subcontract is or becomes $100,000 or more: 1) No payment will be made to the Subcontractor until the Contractor has received a valid Schedule I, and 2) Any request for a reduction in, or final payment of, retainage must be accompanied by an updated and valid Schedule I. Should any of those proposed manufacturers, suppliers of materials, or subsubcontractors be unacceptable to the Contractor, the Subcontractor shall use another supplier, manufacturer or subsubcontractor acceptable to the Contractor, at no additional charge to the Contractor.
