Common use of Subcontracting Plan Clause in Contracts

Subcontracting Plan. Section 12.2.1 If the prime Contractor is required by law to subcontract under the Task Order, it must subcontract at least 35% of the dollar volume of this contract in accordance with the provisions of section C.2.1 of this clause. The plan shall be submitted as part of the bid and may only be amended with the prior written approval of the CO and Director of Department of Small and Local Business Development. Any reduction in the dollar volume of the subcontracted portion resulting from an amendment of the plan shall inure to the benefit of the District and the Department. Each subcontracting plan shall include the following: (a) The name and address of each subcontractor; (b) A current certification number of the small or certified business enterprise; (c) The scope of work to be performed by each subcontractor; and (d) The price that the Prime contractor will pay each subcontractor.
