Subcontractor Guarantees. The County shall cause each Subcontractor that is responsible for the construction of any portion of the Improvements or for the acquisition or installation of any portion of the Equipment to bond or otherwise guarantee all work performed by it against defective workmanship and materials for a period of one year after the Completion Date, provided that such one year period shall not begin with respect to any item that is not completed on the Completion Date until such item is completed. The County shall assign to the Trustee any guarantee of workmanship and materials which it may receive but shall retain the right to enforce such guarantee directly.
