Common use of Subcontractor Licenses Clause in Contracts

Subcontractor Licenses. All Subcontractors shall be properly licensed by the California State Licensing Board. All Subcontractors (of any tier) performing any portion of the Work must comply with the Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1 and must be properly and currently registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations and qualified to perform public works pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 throughout the duration of the Project. No portion of the Work is permitted to be performed by a subcontractor of any tier unless the Subcontractor is properly registered with DIR. Any Subcontractors of any tier not properly registered with DIR shall be substituted in accordance with Labor Code section 1771.1.
