Common use of Subject to Appropriation of Funds Clause in Contracts

Subject to Appropriation of Funds. GDPM’s funds are contingent upon the availability of lawful appropriations by the United States Congress and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. If the United States Congress and/or the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development fail at any time to continue funding for the payments or obligation due hereunder, the Work under this Contract that is affected by the lack of funding will terminate and GDPM will have no further obligation to make payments and will be released from its obligations on the date funding expires.
