Common use of Subleasing of Units Clause in Contracts

Subleasing of Units. Since it is the primary purpose of these Restrictions to establish a residential community occupied by certain eligible faculty members, administrators, staff members and employees of Pepperdine University whose primary residence is the Condominium Unit, subleasing the Condominium Unit is permitted only with the prior written approval of Declarant; provided, however, that the provisions of this Section VI of Article XIV shall not apply to Declarant's leasing or rental of either of the Xxxxxxxx Units, so long as Declarant owns such Units.
