Common use of Subordinate Nature Clause in Contracts

Subordinate Nature. Except as provided in subsection 23(b), this Lease is subject and subordinate to all ground and underlying leases, mortgages and deeds of trust which now or may hereafter affect the Premises, the CC&R's, if any, and to all renewals, modifications, consolidations, replacements and extensions thereof. Subject to subsection (c) below, within ten (10) days after Landlord's written request therefor, Tenant shall execute any and all documents required by Landlord, the lessor under any ground or underlying lease ("Lessor"), or the holder or holders of any mortgage or deed of trust ("Holder") to make this Lease subordinate to the lien of any lease, mortgage or deed of trust, as the case may be.
