Subscriber Equipment. In order to use the Voice Service, you must also provide certain subscriber premise equipment, such as a telephone handset or equivalent, telephone inside wire and outlets, a powered electrical outlet, and a backup battery. Atlantic Broadband does not provide subscriber premise equipment as part of the Voice Service. You represent that you either own the subscriber premise equipment or have the right to use it in connection with the Voice Service. Atlantic Broadband shall have no obligation to provide, maintain, or service the subscriber premise equipment that you provide. Atlantic Broadband makes no representation that any particular type or brand of subscriber premise equipment, such as facsimile, credit card readers, data terminals, alarm or other security systems will operate with the Voice Service or Atlantic Broadband Equipment.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Newly Manufactured Subscriber Equipment Agreement with NewCo shall provide that the first 5,000 Satellite Series Model 9505 portable units sold in each of (i) the Production Period (as defined below) and (ii) the twelve-month period following the Production Period will be sold at a discount of $250 per unit to the then current price of such units as specified in the Newly Manufactured Subscriber Equipment Agreement with NewCo.

Subscriber Equipment. Subscriber shall be responsible for obtaining, configuring, and maintaining—both the functionality and security of—any equipment and ancillary services needed to connect to, access or otherwise use the Platform and the BLUETOOTHKEY Services, including but not limited to computers, phones, tablets, hardware, software and the like (collectively “Subscriber Equipment”). BLUETOOTHKEY shall not be required to provide any Subscriber Equipment, except where expressly agreed upon, for Subscriber and failure to properly obtain, maintain, or configure such Subscriber Equipment may result in the inaccessibility of the Platform and the associated Services. BLUETOOTHKEY shall have no liability to Subscriber for Subscriber’s failure to obtain, configure, or maintain any Subscriber Equipment required for Subscriber to access the Platform or Services. Where BLUETOOTHKEY sells or leases any Subscriber Equipment to Subscriber, such Subscriber Equipment shall be offered on an as-is basis without warranty or support. Any warranties for any Subscriber Equipment purchased or leased shall be the warranties offered by any third parties that manufacture such Subscriber Equipment.
Subscriber Equipment. The devices you as the Subscriber have in your possession and under your ownership to use the UCS Services such as a tablet, mobile phone, personal computer and/or other devices that you may use to access the Internet Service must meet UCS’ minimum configuration standards. UCS will not and does not support, install, maintain, fix, replace or repair any third-party hardware, including but not limited to home networks or computers, nor does it maintain, fix or install any software related to the operability of third-party hardware. If you have any issues or questions regarding your device(s) and third-party hardware you should immediately contact the device manufacturer or the retailer where you purchased the device or third-party hardware.
