Common use of Substantiation of Unit Price Clause in Contracts

Substantiation of Unit Price. Where Contractor's application for payment includes compensation for the Work performed at a unit price, Contractor shall submit its determination of units of the Work performed, determined in accordance with the provisions of the applicable Order, and substantiated by documents satisfactory in form and content to Owner or Owner's Representative. Upon verification by Owner or Owner's Representative of said documents, Owner or Owner's Representative will advise Contractor in writing of either acceptance of Contractor's determination of units or of Owner's or Owner's Representative's determination of such units. If Contractor believes that Owner or Owner's Representative has incorrectly determined the units of the Work performed, Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Article 10.4, CLAIMS, hereof.
