Common use of Successor to the MSC Clause in Contracts

Successor to the MSC. The words “the MSC, or its successor,” do not include a public administrator appointed pursuant to section 3(13) of the Medicare Protection Act, and if such a public administrator is so appointed, the parties agree to amend this Agreement to provide for an alternate process for the determination of issues that under those sections are to be or may be referred to “the MSC, or its successor,” for determination.
