Successors, etc. a. I acknowledge and agree that this Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the Company and its successors and assigns, and shall be binding upon me and upon my heirs and legal representatives. b. I understand and agree in particular that the non-competition and confidentiality provisions of this Agreement may be assigned by the Company in the event that the Company transfers ownership of all or part of its business to another entity and, in connection with any such transfer, I receive or maintain employment with the transferee or surviving entity, provided, however, that the non-competition provisions of this Agreement shall, in the event of such transfer of ownership, apply only to lines of business within which the Company was engaged immediately prior to the transfer of ownership interest.
