Common use of SUITS AT LAW Clause in Contracts

SUITS AT LAW. The Contractor shall indemnify and save harmless the TOWN DISTRICT from and against all suits, claims, demands or actions for any injury sustained or alleged to be sustained by any party or parties in connection with the construction of the work or any part thereof, or any commission or omission of the Contractor, his employees or agents or any subcontractors and in case any such action shall be brought against the TOWN DISTRICT, the Contractor shall immediately take care of and defend the same at his own cost and expense.
