Common use of Supplier Software and Supplier Background IPRs Clause in Contracts

Supplier Software and Supplier Background IPRs. If a licence granted in Clause 17.3 (Supplier Software and Supplier Background IPRs) is novated under Clause 17.8 (Authority’s right to assign/novate licences) or there is a change of the Authority’s status pursuant to Clause 17.9, the rights acquired on that novation or change of status shall not extend beyond those previously enjoyed by the Authority.
