Common use of Surface leasing Clause in Contracts

Surface leasing. 4.1 The Contractor will pay the State the following annual surface lease amounts: (a) Dollars ($...) annually per hectare of the Contract Area, or part thereof, during the Initial Exploration Period, the Extension Periods, or any extension of them; or (b) Dollars ($...) annually per hectare for each Development and Production Area, for each Calendar Year or part thereof, during the term of the relevant Development and Production Period.
