Common use of SUSPECTED DBE FRAUD Clause in Contracts

SUSPECTED DBE FRAUD. ADOT will bring to the attention of the USDOT any appearance of false, fraudulent or dishonest conduct in connection with the DBE program and this Agreement, so that USDOT can take steps such as referral to the U.S. Department of Justice for criminal prosecution, referral to the USDOT Inspector General for possible initiation of suspension and debarment proceedings against the offending parties or application of “Program Fraud and Civil Penalties” rules provided in 49 CFR Part 31.
