Common use of Suspension by Local Agency Clause in Contracts

Suspension by Local Agency. Local Agency may suspend a portion of this Agreement within the Local Agency’s jurisdiction, if it finds, in its reasonable and sole discretion, that suspension is necessary to protect persons or property from a condition which would create an immediate and serious risk to the physical health and safety of the general public or residents or employees who are occupying or will occupy the Property, such as might be the case in the event of a major earthquake or natural disaster of similar magnitude.
