Suspension by the contracting authority. The contracting authority may suspend the performance of the FWC or order form or any part thereof: (a) if the FWC or order form award procedure or the performance of the FWC prove to have been subject to substantial errors, irregularities or fraud; (b) in order to verify whether presumed substantial errors, irregularities or fraud have actually occurred. Suspension shall take effect on the day the contractor receives formal notification, or at a later date where the notification so provides. The contracting authority shall as soon as possible give notice to the contractor to resume the service suspended or inform the contractor that it is proceeding with termination of the FWC or order form. The contractor shall not be entitled to claim compensation on account of suspension of the FWC or order form or of part thereof.
