Synthesis from Optimizing Contracts Sample Clauses

Synthesis from Optimizing Contracts. ∧ To solve Problem 3 for a contract C = (U, X, A, G, O), we can directly use SOLVEMAXMIN(M, U , X , φA φG, O, H) to find a trace in Gmax. However, finding such a trace is less straightforward for a contract that is obtained via cooperative or non-cooperative composition. Let C1 = (U1, X1, φA1, φG1, O1) and C2 = (U2, X2, φA2, φG2, O2) be con- × ⊗ ⊗ tracts specified for the composition between M1 and M2, written M1 M2. Because cooperative composition C1 ˆ C2 = (U, X, φA, φG, O) is an optimizing contract, we can generate a sequence xH satisfying it by calling SOLVEMAXMIN(M1 × M2, U , X , φA ∧ φG, O, H), where φG := φG1 ∧ φG2, φA := φG → (φA1 ∧ φA2), and O = (OT , OT )T . to implement SOLVEMAX and SOLVEMAXMIN. We address compatibility checking by calling SOLVE- MAX(M, V , φA, [], H). If there exists a solution trace, then C is compatible. Similarly, to check consistency, we call SOLVE- Non-cooperative composition C1 ˇ C2 requires, instead, the solution of two optimization problems to generate a trace satisfying the composite contracts, as shown in Algorithm 2. We find a trace vH in G1,max and vH in G2,max and concatenate

  • Unbundled Channelization (Multiplexing) 5.7.1 To the extent NewPhone is purchasing DS1 or DS3 or STS-1 Dedicated Transport pursuant to this Agreement, Unbundled Channelization (UC) provides the optional multiplexing capability that will allow a DS1 (1.544 Mbps) or DS3 (44.736 Mbps) or STS-1 (51.84 Mbps) Network Elements to be multiplexed or channelized at a BellSouth central office. Channelization can be accomplished through the use of a multiplexer or a digital cross-connect system at the discretion of BellSouth. Once UC has been installed, NewPhone may request channel activation on a channelized facility and BellSouth shall connect the requested facilities via COCIs. The COCI must be compatible with the lower capacity facility and ordered with the lower capacity facility. This service is available as defined in NECA 4.

  • OVERLAPPING CONTRACT ITEMS Products/services available in this Contract may also be available from other New York State contracts. If Contractor will sell to the Judicial Council, or use in the performance of this Agreement, goods specified in PCC 12207 (for example, certain paper products, office supplies, mulch, glass products, lubricating oils, plastic products, paint, antifreeze, tires and tire-derived products, and metal products), then with respect to those goods: (i) Contractor shall use recycled products in the performance of this Agreement to the maximum extent doing so is economically feasible, and (ii) upon request, Contractor shall certify in writing under penalty of perjury, the minimum, if not exact, percentage of post consumer material as defined in the PCC 12200, in such goods regardless of whether the goods meet the requirements of PCC 12209.

  • Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract.

  • Particular Methods of Procurement of Goods Works and Services (other than Consultants’ Services)
