Common use of SYSTEMATIC WITHDRAWALS Clause in Contracts

SYSTEMATIC WITHDRAWALS. Systematic Withdrawals are automatic periodic Withdrawals from Contract Value in substantially equal amounts prior to the Annuity Start Date. To start Systematic Withdrawals, you must make the request in writing, stating the type of payment, its frequency and allocations for such Withdrawals. If no allocation is specified, FSBL will deduct Systematic Withdrawals from the Accounts in the same proportion that Contract Value is allocated among the Accounts. Any Systematic Withdrawal will reduce Contract Value by the amount of the Systematic Withdrawal, any Withdrawal Charges attributable to the Systematic Withdrawal, and any Premium tax.
