T HE EVALUATION SYSTEM. S ection 8.1 General Provisions Applicable to All Employees Employees shall be evaluated each school year in accordance with the procedures and criteria set forth herein. For the purpose of evaluation, employees shall be observed in the performance of their primary work responsibilities and assignments. The purposes of evaluation are to promote professional growth and effective teaching practices. 1.1 Notice Each employee within thirty (30) days after his/her employment or within thirty (30) days from the commencement of the school year or within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this Agreement, whichever is later, shall be given a copy of any evaluation forms and criteria to be used in the evaluation process.
