Common use of Taking possession of the flat Clause in Contracts

Taking possession of the flat. The Tenant hereby declares that he/she has inspected the flat that is the object of this contract and found it to be in perfect condition, suitable for the agreed use, and that it meets all the Tenant’s specific needs, in particular as concerns fixtures, fittings and furnishings. The Tenant declares that he/she is fully aware of the conditions and entitlements of the premises, relieving the Institute from any obligation to carry out adaptations and adjustments of any kind, except as required by the existing legislation. Upon receipt of the keys, the Tenant takes possession of the flat in question for all legal intents and purposes, and thus becomes its legal guardian and is responsible for its condition.
