Common use of TARGET AND ELIGIBLE POPULATION Clause in Contracts

TARGET AND ELIGIBLE POPULATION. The target population for these funds are residents of Texas who are U.S. citizens, legal aliens, or qualified aliens who are unemployed, underemployed, or otherwise are determined by the Grantee to be needy who also have one or more dependent children under 18 years of age, and either the individual or the dependent child have a clinical diagnosis of a mental health condition, intellectual or developmental disability, or substance use disorder and have been affected by the pandemic in meeting their basic needs. The Grantee must use or develop their own standard screening protocols to ensure that assistance under this Contract is only provided to eligible population participants. Assistance cannot be provided to populations that do not meet the above description under this Contract.
