Common use of Tax Exempt Status Letter Clause in Contracts

Tax Exempt Status Letter. Written documentation that is obtained from the Internal Revenue Service, must evidence Contractor's tax exempt status. When Contractor is a non-profit entity, such evidence must reflect Contractor's tax exempt status. In the event Contractor's tax exempt status changes, Contractor shall provide County a copy of its new status within five (5) days of any change in its tax exempt status.
