Common use of Tax on Deed of Trust Clause in Contracts

Tax on Deed of Trust. At any time any Law shall be enacted imposing or authorizing the imposition of any tax upon this Deed of Trust, or upon any rights, titles, liens, or security interests created hereby, or upon the Indebtedness or any part thereof, Grantor will immediately pay all such taxes, provided that if such Law as enacted makes it unlawful for Grantor to pay such tax, Grantor shall not pay nor be obligated to pay such tax. Nevertheless, if a Law is enacted making it unlawful for Grantor to pay such taxes, then Grantor must prepay the Indebtedness in full within sixty (60) days after demand therefor by Beneficiary.
