Common use of Taxes, Permits, Fees Clause in Contracts

Taxes, Permits, Fees. Except as otherwise provided in the Owner/Contractor Contract, the Subcontractor agrees to pay, comply with, and hold the Owner and the Contractor harmless against the payment of all contributions, taxes, duties, or premiums for which Subcontractor may be liable under federal, state or local law arising out of the performance of this Subcontract including any interest or penalties. The Subcontractor waives any and all claims for an increase in the Subcontract Amount because of any increase in the aforementioned contributions, taxes, duties or premiums, unless payment for such increases is specifically provided for in the Owner/Contractor Contract. The Subcontractor shall obtain all approvals and obtain and pay for all permits, licenses, fees and certificates of inspection necessary for the prosecution and completion of the Work.
