Technical Work Group. The Regional Board and Atlantic Richfield recognize and acknowledge that different technologies and approaches should be evaluated and considered in the course of performing the RI, FS, Remedial Design, and Remedy selection. To that end, the Regional Board and Atlantic Richfield convened a technical work group (the “Technical Work Group”), which was assigned the task of performing a preliminary assessment of the feasibility and costs of constructing and operating an off-Site AMD treatment and delivery system, as compared to an on-Site system, in accordance with Section IV.B.2 of this Agreement. The selected Technical Work Group participants had the engineering and other applicable technical training and expertise suitable for performing the analyses necessary for assessing such feasibility.
