Common use of Telephone Numbers Clause in Contracts

Telephone Numbers. (a) In connection with a Service, you may be allocated with telephone numbers. (b) We must comply with the Numbering Plan which sets out rules for issuing, transferring and changing telephone numbers. (c) You have no claim against us arising from anything we do in compliance with the Numbering Plan, including changing or withdrawing a previously allocated number. (d) You must not knowingly and deliberately: (i) do anything that causes us to breach the Numbering Plan or which makes it more difficult for us to comply with it, or (ii) relocate, reassign or transfer the number for any Service except in accordance with our published procedures, or otherwise as the Law permits. (e) You do not own any number allocated to you, and (except where Law permits you to transfer your telephone service and its number to another service provider) you have no right to retain a particular number when your Contract ends.
