TEMPERATURE GAUGE. The autoclave must be equipped with a panel mounted digital LED; LCD or equivalent indicator to visually display the temperature reading measured at a position which allows a representative reading to be taken in the sterilizing chamber of the autoclave. A continuous display of the temperature reading shall be given during the operation of the autoclave. PT 100 or J type thermocouples shall be used as temperature sensors. Accuracy shall be better than 1,5% of the full scale reading.
