Temporary Restrictions Sample Clauses

The Temporary Restrictions clause establishes specific limitations or prohibitions that apply for a defined period within the duration of an agreement. Typically, this clause might restrict certain activities, such as the use of confidential information, competition, or access to resources, until a particular event occurs or a set timeframe elapses. Its core practical function is to manage risk and protect the interests of one or both parties during sensitive periods, ensuring that certain actions are controlled while circumstances are in flux or until permanent arrangements are in place.

(‘Safeguarded’ rate of pay/salary). iii) If the temporary restriction continues beyond six months and alternative work continues to be available the employee will be accommodated in the alternative post. In the event of an extended shortage of water, whether caused by equipment failure or an inadequate supply of raw (untreated) water, the water supplied to BUYER shall be reduced or diminished in the same proportion as the supply to the SELLER’S other customers located outside of SELLER’S city limits, unless the cause is a failure of the water main serving BUYER. The BUYER shall enforce the rationing and use restriction rules among its customers.
