Temporary Work Differential. 5.4.1 If an employee is assigned to perform the duties of a higher paying job title, and performs the duties for at least four (4) hours per week excluding coverage for meal or break periods or if an employee is scheduled to and covers meal and break periods for an entire week (Monday through Friday), the employee shall be paid the differential equivalent to the comparable step of the higher job title for the full hours during which the duties of the higher paying job are performed.
