Tenant Illegal Activities Clause Samples
The Tenant Illegal Activities clause prohibits tenants from engaging in unlawful conduct on the leased premises. It typically covers activities such as drug use, illegal gambling, or other criminal behavior, and may specify that any violation constitutes a breach of the lease, potentially leading to eviction. This clause serves to protect the property owner from legal liability, maintain a safe environment for all occupants, and provide a clear basis for terminating the lease if illegal activities occur.
