Common use of Tenant’s Attornment Upon Foreclosure Clause in Contracts

Tenant’s Attornment Upon Foreclosure. Tenant shall, upon request, attorn (i) to any purchaser of the Building or the Property at any foreclosure sale or private sale conducted pursuant to any security instrument encumbering the Building or the Property, (ii) to any grantee or transferee designated in any deed given in lieu of foreclosure of any security interest encumbering the Building or the Property, or (iii) to the lessor under any underlying ground lease of the land underlying the Building or the Property, should such ground lease be terminated; provided that such purchaser, grantee or lessor recognizes Tenant's rights under this Lease.
