Common use of Tenant's Failure to Surrender Clause in Contracts

Tenant's Failure to Surrender. If the Premises are not surrendered at the end of the Term or sooner termination thereof, the Tenant shall indemnify the Landlord against any loss or liability from delay by the Tenant in so surrendering the Premises, including, without limitation, claims made by any succeeding Tenant founded on such delay. The Tenant shall promptly surrender all keys for the Premises to the Landlord at the place then fixed for payment of rent and shall inform the Landlord of combinations on any locks and safes on the Premises.
