Tenant’s Obligations Continue Sample Clauses

Tenant’s Obligations Continue. No sublease or assignment shall affect or reduce any obligation of Tenant or right of Landlord hereunder, and all obligations of Tenant hereunder shall continue in full effect as the obligations of a principal and not of a guarantor or surety, as though no subletting or assignment had been made. For the purposes of this Lease generally and subparagraphs (a)(iii), (iv) and (v) of Article 23 hereof in particular, the term “Tenant” shall mean Bank of America, N.A., and not its subtenants and assignees.

As a condition of consenting to an Assignment, the Landlord may require the Assignee to enter into an agreement with the Landlord to carry out the Tenant’s obligations hereunder, but nothing in such agreement shall relieve the Tenant from the Tenant’s obligations.

Such assignment or other disposition shall render null and void at the time of such assignment or other disposition any options to renew this Lease, options or rights to additional area and options or rights to car parking areas unless Landlord shall have otherwise agreed in writing. Upon the Landlord granting its consent to an assignment or subletting by the Tenant, the Tenant and its assignee or subtenant shall be required to enter into the Landlord's standard form consent agreement at the Tenant's cost.
