Common use of Term Commencement Date Clause in Contracts

Term Commencement Date. 2.1. The term of this Agreement shall be from the Effective Date through three (3) years thereafter, unless earlier terminated in accordance with Paragraph 8. Additionally, the Village Manager may renew this Agreement for two (2) additional one (1) year periods on the same terms as set forth herein upon written notice to the Contractor. 2.2. Contractor agrees that time is of the essence and Contractor shall complete the Services within the timeframes set forth in the Statement of Work and the Notice to Proceed for each Project in the manner provided in this Agreement, unless extended by the Village Manager.
