Common use of Term Commencement Date Clause in Contracts

Term Commencement Date. 2.1 This Agreement shall become effective upon execution by both Parties and shall remain in effect through September 30, 2019, unless earlier terminated in accordance with Section 8, below. The City Manager may extend the term of this Agreement up to an additional 180 days by written notice to Consultant. 2.2 Consultant agrees that time is of the essence and Consultant shall provide Services within the timeframe provided by the City Manager.
