Term Termination Expiry Clause Samples

The 'Term; Termination; Expiry' clause defines the duration of the agreement, the conditions under which it can be ended, and what happens when it naturally concludes. It typically specifies the start and end dates of the contract, outlines the procedures for early termination by either party (such as for breach or convenience), and may detail notice requirements or post-termination obligations. This clause ensures both parties understand how long their commitments last and under what circumstances the relationship can be ended, thereby providing certainty and managing the risk of unexpected or unclear contract endings.
