Termination and notification Clause Samples

The 'Termination and notification' clause defines the procedures and requirements for ending an agreement and the manner in which parties must inform each other of such termination. Typically, this clause outlines the acceptable reasons for termination, the notice period required, and the method by which notice must be delivered, such as in writing or via email. Its core practical function is to ensure both parties are aware of and prepared for the end of the contractual relationship, thereby reducing misunderstandings and disputes related to the termination process.
