Common use of Termination and Severability Clause in Contracts

Termination and Severability. 7.1. At any time, without cause, County shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate this Agreement by giving thirty (30) calendar days’ notice to Contractor. Effective on the date of termination, County shall have no further liability to Contractor other than for payment of actual costs incurred for services provided under this Agreement prior to the date of termination and not previously paid by County. Payment shall be limited to actual, reasonable, and verifiable costs incurred by Contractor in the performance of services prior to the termination date.
