Common use of Termination by DIT Clause in Contracts

Termination by DIT. If the Grantee fails to fulfill in a timely and proper manner its obligations or violates any of the covenants or stipulations under this Agreement, the Grantee agrees that DIT has the right to terminate this Grant Agreement by giving, as applicable, the Grantee written notice specifying the Termination Date of either agreement, within sixty (60) days. Upon such termination, DIT shall have no responsibility to make additional Grant payments. Upon such termination, the Grantee shall not expend any Grant funds without DIT’s express written authorization and shall return all unspent Grant funds to DIT upon demand.
