Common use of TERMINATION BY GRANTEE Clause in Contracts

TERMINATION BY GRANTEE. Grantee may terminate this Agreement effective upon delivery of written notice of termination to A g e n c y , or at such later date as may be established by Grantee in such written notice, if: (i) The requisite local funding or match, if any, to continue the Project becomes unavailable to G r a n t e e ; or (ii) Federal or state laws, rules, regulations or guidelines are modified or interpreted in such a way that the Project is no longer allowable or no longer eligible for funding under this Agreement. (iii) Federal or state laws, rules, regulations or guidelines are modified or interpreted in such a way that Grantee is no longer authorized to operate or to carry out the Project.
