Common use of Termination, Cancellation and Expiration Clause in Contracts

Termination, Cancellation and Expiration. Notwithstanding any provisions in this Agreement, the Agency, through a duly authorized employee, may Terminate the Agreement whenever the Agency makes a written determination that such Termination is in the best interests of the State. The Agency shall notify the Contractor in writing of Termination pursuant to this section, which notice shall specify the effective date of Termination and the extent to which the Contractor must complete Performance under the Agreement prior to such date.
