Common use of Termination due to an Immediate Termination Event Clause in Contracts

Termination due to an Immediate Termination Event. (a) The Contracting Authority may terminate this Agreement as of a date specified by it, in the case of an Immediate Termination Event. (b) In the case of termination pursuant to paragraph (a) the Contracting Authority must pay the Contractor compensation, or the Contractor must pay the Contracting Authority compensation, in accordance with Schedule 4 (Compensation for premature termination), paragraph 1 (Termination due to an Immediate Termination Event or Termination due to a Contractor Default).
