Common use of Termination of Contract for Convenience Clause in Contracts

The performance of work under this Contract may be terminated by COG, in whole or in part, upon written notice to the Contractor, when COG determines such termination is in the best interest of COG. The termination for convenience is effective on the date specified in COG’s written notice.
