Termination of Contract for Failure to Become Effective. a) If this Contract has not become effective within 15 days from effective date the Owner has the right to declare the same to be null and void, and in the event of such a declaration the consultant shall not have any claim against the Owner. b) In case the contract is rendered null and void on account of failure/inaction on the part of the consultant, the consultant shall be liable to pay damages to the Owner.
