Common use of Termination of Engagement Clause in Contracts

Termination of Engagement. Subject to the post-engagement obligations set forth herein, including, for example, the obligations set forth in Sections 7 through 12 above, inclusive, either party may terminate Contractor’s engagement by the Company for any reason by providing the other with written notice of termination at least thirty (30) days prior to such termination (“Notice of Termination”). If either the Company provides, or Contractor provides, a Notice of Termination under this Section 16, the Company, at its sole discretion, may accelerate the effective date of the termination, and pay to me the Compensation described in Section 3 through the 30th day following such Notice of Termination.
