Common use of Termination of Housing Assistance Payments Clause in Contracts

Termination of Housing Assistance Payments. TENANT understands that the Housing Assistance Payment paid on behalf of TENANT will be terminated if events described in either (a) or (b) below occur. Termination of Housing Assistance Payments to TENANT means that LANDLORD may make the Housing Assistance Payments available to another tenant of the development and the amount of rent that must be paid by TENANT will increase to the HUD-approved Contract Rent for the dwelling unit.
